In the middle of the week, the sun will break through the clouds in some places. On Wednesday, April 24, for most of the day, precipitation will be only in places, but in the west, a new precipitation zone will reach Latvia from the southeast, which will bring rain throughout the country, under the influence of which it is expected that the remaining snow cover will melt. reports the Center for Environment, Geology and Meteorology of Latvia (LVGMC).
The wind will get a little stronger on Thursday. On Wednesday, a warmer air mass will gradually enter the country, so the air temperature during the daylight hours in the middle of the week will mostly be in the range of +7…+13 degrees.
At the end of the week, the atmospheric pressure will gradually increase, as a result of which the weather will become more favorable again – the intensity of precipitation will decrease and the air will warm up even more during the days when the sun shines.
LVĜMC indicates that we will still experience gusty winds on the sea coast on Friday, but this will also subside during the holidays. The air temperature will be significantly higher both at night and during the day – on holidays, during the bright hours of the day, the thermometer may even rise above the +16…+20 degree mark in some places.
At the beginning of the new working weeks, rain is expected in some places, and the air temperature will become even higher, the thermometer could reach +20…+23 degrees in most parts of the country.
