Currently, several companies’ parcel networks are operating in Latvia, making sending and receiving parcels more convenient and faster than ever before. With the spring, a new parcel network has started operating with us, which many of you may have already noticed. These are parcels of the Lithuanian state postal company “Lietuvos paštas”, which operate under the “Unisend” brand.

“Unisend” representatives have informed that this network of parcels already operates in all three Baltic countries, and has currently grown to 750 spring-colored parcels. Of them, 152 are located in Latvia, almost as many in Estonia. “Lietuvos paštas” has invested more than four million euros in this development process.

The chairman of the board of “Lietuvos paštas”, Rolands Zuks, revealed that the company decided to take a step in the field of parcels more than ten years ago. After successful operation in Lithuania, the company has decided to go further and this spring to offer parcel services in neighboring countries – Latvia and Lithuania.

Feel free to share a comment if you have experience with receiving or sending packages in these parcels.
