During the Easter holidays, from March 29 to April 1, changes are planned for 480 regional bus routes throughout Latvia, public relations specialist of VSIA “Autotransporta Direkcija” (ATD) Sanita Heinsberga informed the portal.

ATD invites passengers to check the current bus schedule before each trip on the website www.atd.lv in the “Moving Schedules” section or in the “Traffic” section of the 1188.lv portal.
Changes are expected in routes where public transport services are provided by 13 carriers: AS “Nordeka”, AS “Liepājas busu parks”, AS “Talsu autotransports”, SIA “Latvijas Sabiedriskais Autobuss”, PSIA “Ventspils reiss”, SIA “Tukuma auto”, SIA “Daugavpils busu parks”, SIA “Dautrans”, AS “Rēzeknes busu parks”, SIA “Ludzas autotransporta umensas”, SIA “Gulbenes autobusss”, AS “CATA”, SIA “VTU Valmiera”.
The Directorate of Road Transport invites residents to use public transport services and always take a ticket for their journey, as the statistics on the journey request is made up of the number of tickets issued to passengers. Passengers can report detected ticket sales violations to the directorate controllers at any time of the day by sending a text message or calling 27776621 (automated answering machine).
