We Dare To Dream

The film “We Dare to Dream” is the story of professional athletes – refugees from Iran, Syria, South Sudan and Cameroon who swim, run and fight in competition venues around the world. Its executive producers include American actress Angelina Jolie and songwriter, pianist John Legend. The story of the new film shows the passion and determination of people when they are forced to leave their families, homes and birthplaces to start a new life. Athletes will share diverse and unique experiences of participating in the Summer Olympic Games. The film “We Dare to Dream” is available to viewers in Latvia on “discovery+” latest generation television “Go3”.

As the determined young athletes prepare for the Summer Olympics, fighting for their place in the world, their supporters, loved ones and activists in the refugee community are watching and supporting these athletes. The film will make every viewer experience athletes’ stories about overcoming difficulties and above all – hope for a better life.
