On May 25, the band was the guest of the Musical Bank “Borowa Mc” musician Aigars Runčiswho presented the new song to the audience “Atmosphere”. The song was written to inspire people to love and fall in love this summer. The authors of the song are members of the group Borowa Mc, Aigars Runčis and Guntra Kuzmina – Jukna, and this song was produced by Fakts (Jānis Šmēdiņš).
“‘Atmosphere’ is about love – both first romance and long-term relationships. I wrote this song while attending my friends’ wedding ceremony, inspired by happy people and hearing all the good wishes for the new couple. The second part is about me and my wife being together for almost two decades and still in love,” says Aigars about the creation of the song.
The song was written during the group’s creative camp last summer in Latgale, and the demo version was recorded in a summer house that was adapted to the needs of the studio.
The next concerts for the group are planned for the summer, performing in Livani in July, and participating in the grand concert Born in Latgol in Rēzekne in August.
During the program, Aigars Runčis evaluated the collaboration of the group “Instrumenti” and Gustavo – the song “Năc dejot”. This song is one of the Latvian music hits of the 80s – 90s and its performers are the well-known rock group “Linga”. At one time, this song was played at parties and gatherings of young people as one of the most popular dance tunes. Although this song belongs to the Latvian rock genre, the group “Instrumenti” and Gustavo chose it purposefully as an interesting creative and substantive challenge.
