“airBaltic” content manager Arta Uma Upmale tells the LA.LV portal: “We are proud to cooperate with Don and his team this year, supporting us on the way to Eurovision! In order for the song to reach an even wider audience, it was clear from the very beginning that we wanted to support Don through the social media channels of “airBaltic”. After a creative exchange of ideas and inspired by the idea of ”carpool karaoke”, the airBaltic social media content team came up with the idea of creating a karaoke video in the cockpit of an airplane.
This format seemed unusual and exciting to us, resulting in a video that was entirely created by the airBaltic social media content team in cooperation with our Pilot Academy graduate Kaspars, who gladly agreed to sing with Don.
We are really happy that the followers also appreciate and share the Latvian Eurovision song.”
As already reported, Don will represent Latvia in the second semi-final of the 68th international Eurovision Song Contest on Thursday, May 9.
LTV1 and REplay.lv will watch the live broadcast of the semi-finals at 22.00 Representatives of Latvia, as well as Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway and the Netherlands will participate in the second semi-final.
