Ukrainians are actively sharing on social networks the image of Nikolai, the son of Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, dressed in class in the colors of the Ukrainian flag with a classmate.
The young man is dressed in a blue suit, but the girl is next to him in a yellow dress. Does Lukashenko’s son secretly support the Ukrainians, asks any social network user. Another adds: this is the side from which Lukashenko did not expect an attack.
Lukashenko himself is trying to balance his support for Russia with a desire to avoid the direct involvement of his troops in the Russia-Ukraine war, in order to avoid even greater Western sanctions against his regime and Ukraine’s retaliation.
However, the territory of Belarus was used as a bridgehead for Russian attacks.
The presence of Belarusian forces along the border is likely to keep Ukrainian forces there, the statement said.
