Contrary to the global trend of an increasingly rapid transition to electric cars, the new Kia model K4 for the US market will be available only with internal combustion engines.
The Kia K4 is presented as the successor to the Forte, stands out with a hatchback-type body, an interesting design of the rear part and a combination of vertical and horizontal lights.
The most noticeable detail in the cabin is the combined 30-inch instrument and multimedia device screen, a slightly flattened steering wheel and a block with physical buttons for climate control management.
Two petrol engines are available. One of them is a two-liter naturally aspirated unit that develops 149 hp (179 Nm) and works in combination with a CVT transmission, the other is a 1.6-liter turbo with 193 hp (264 Nm) connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
It is known that the K4 will become available in the US in 2024, but the manufacturer has not yet disclosed the price.
