“Celtics” defeated Miami “Heat” 104:84 on the road in the third game of the quarterfinals of the NBA Eastern Conference on Sunday night Latvian time and took a 2-1 lead in the series.

Porzingis played 27 minutes and scored 18 points, while Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum each scored 22 for Boston.

“Porzingis is probably the most important guy on our team to what we’re trying to accomplish,” Tatum told reporters when asked about Kristaps.

“I have no doubt that he will have a better game and come back, just the way he started the game on both sides of the court, being active. When he’s protecting the basket, hitting shots, we’re a completely different team.”

Porzingis’ energy helped the Celtics regain control of the series.

“It was two long days. After possibly the worst game I’ve played as a Celtic player, I was really on fire, I won’t lie. There was an opportunity and we were able to make adjustments. It was a completely different game today,” added Porzingis.

The third game of the series will take place on Tuesday night Latvian time at the Kaseya Center arena in Miami.
