From April 2, residents of the Bauska region, upon presentation of the Bauska region resident card, can purchase tickets to the music festival “Bauska TASTE 2024” with a 20 percent discount, Kristiāna Paula-Lībiete, public relations specialist of the Bauska Culture Center, informed the portal.

She revealed that until May 31, a two-day ticket with a Bauska county resident card discount will cost 32 euros, and a one-day ticket will cost 20 euros. On the other hand, for young people from 12 to 17 years of age, seniors and persons with II group disabilities, the price of a two-day ticket with a discount will be 24 euros, and a one-day ticket will be 16 euros. It should be noted that each Bauska county resident card holder can purchase only one ticket with a discount. All persons with group I disabilities and children up to 11 years of age (inclusive) have free entrance to the festival. Ticket prices are expected to increase from June 1.
The municipality of Bauskas explains that in the mobile app “Bauskas novads” the benefits of the personalized card of a resident of Bauskas are automatically granted to every user of the app who has declared himself in Bauskas and uses the mobile app with strict authentication using Latvija.lv.
In order to receive a discount, the square code assigned in the app must be presented or the square code number must be mentioned when making a purchase. When buying tickets on the website of the “Biļešu Paradīze” trading platform, you must add the ticket to the shopping cart, press “choose discount” in the shopping cart, select the discount for the residents’ card of Bauska region and enter the square code number.

The app “Bauskas novads” can be downloaded for free in Google Play (Android devices) and App Store (iOS devices).
The municipality draws attention to the fact that residents who use the “Bauskas County” app do not need a personalized plastic card of a resident of Bauskas County. The plastic card is an alternative solution for those residents who do not have the opportunity to download the mobile app on their smartphone or tablet.
In order to receive a resident’s card, a person submits an application form for receiving a resident’s card of Bauskas county at one of the unified customer service centers of the state and municipality of Bauskas, presenting a personal identification document or sending it electronically to the e-mail address: [email protected].

The festival “Bauska TASTE” will take place on August 9 and 10 in the park of Bauska Pilskalnas. Classical music hooligans “Dagamba”, legendary musician Ivo Fomins, rapper Finķis, 2000s popular music nostalgia Detlef and other favorite artists will perform at the event.
