Gulbene district improvement institution will ensure the collection of green waste (branches, leaves, grass) from the public outdoor space adjacent to the properties of natural and legal persons in the territory of Gulbene city during the month of Shine, after prior application. Leaves and grass can be placed in bags. It is forbidden to put household waste in bags. Bags will not be collected if household waste is mixed with green waste. The removal of green waste must be reported by calling 64474300.

The municipality reminds that the binding regulations of the Gulbene County Council of June 30, 2021 No. 14 Paragraph 24 of “On household waste management in Gulbene district” stipulates that during the cleaning and cleaning months (in spring and autumn) determined by the municipality, biodegradable waste from gardens or parks that cannot be composted, such as leaves, branches, tree and shrub clippings, may be burned in small quantities in bonfires, house and outdoor fireplaces on the territory of your property, observing fire safety regulations, without posing a threat to people’s life, health, personal property, without causing damage to trees and greenery.
