“Privatā Dzīve” reported last year that Dombrovskis and Cilinska exchanged wedding rings. At the time, both refrained from further comment. Well, Cilinska has told how the two got closer.
When asked how to believe that love can be expected even in middle age, Cilinska says: “Miracles do happen! And it’s beautiful, and if we still believe in it… Oh, what to believe or not, enjoy and be happy.
I had also thought that I would work, live peacefully and not need anyone anymore.
But I’m the kind of person who takes things and it takes me back to the stream. I think that in life you need to let go. If you are dealt cards like this, then accept them! I can’t say I’m crazy, but when you feel like you click with the other person, and you get along, it’s so cool! If you start wondering how it will be now, then nothing will happen, because it is impossible to calculate and predict all the moves ahead. In my opinion, the main thing in a relationship between two people is understanding, and then there is also respect.”
Cilinska reveals that work brought them together: “Egon starred in the TV series “Trustee”, which we produced, and somehow we saw each other during filming. Actors, as you know, are very talkative and are good at giving all kinds of compliments, but I’m against all that I have been quite reserved and cold for a while – I have worked with actors quite a bit, but there are exceptions.
And I am happy and grateful to fate for this meeting.”
