The video, which was shown in Superior Court in Ocean City, New Jersey, shows Gregor forcing Corey to run on an exercise machine at the gym. The video shows Corey running on a treadmill and falling backwards.
The dad is seen picking up the boy and putting him back on the treadmill, which continues to run. His son falls several times but is forced to keep running each time. At one point, the father even bit the child’s head, trying to force him to continue running.
The boy was rushed to the hospital the next day after he woke up with nausea, shortness of breath, slurred speech and an inability to walk.
Corey suffered from “chronic abuse”, including marks on his chest and abdomen, a contusion to his left lung, internal lacerations and a bruised liver.
Gregor was arrested in July 2021 on child neglect charges after investigators saw footage from the fitness center.
The boy’s father is currently in prison.
