As the magazine “Kas Jauns” reports this week, at the end of October, when Walter’s birthday is celebrated and the day when the musician passed away, Kristine went to Portugal to fulfill his last wish and scatter his ashes in the ocean.

In a conversation with “Kas Jauns”, Kristine Paegle confirms that she has fulfilled her promise to her beloved Walter. “It was important to me that what Valcha wanted was fully fulfilled. He did not want to bury him and create a physical place. And the promise given was important and sacred to me, because Walter already remains in our hearts,” says Kristine.

As you know, for several years after Walter Friedenberg’s death, disagreements with the distribution of his inheritance continued, which were even contested in court.
