You can call Monday’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.

Or you can call it the “Kelce Bowl, Part V,” the fifth installment of the sibling bragging rights between Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce and Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, the first meeting after they became the first brothers to play against each other in the Super Bowl.

Or you could call the game the sport’s first family gathering ahead of Thanksgiving. Inside a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, Ed and Donna Kelce, Jason and Travis’ parents, will meet Scott and Andrea, the parents of pop superstar Taylor Swift, who is dating Travis.

As for the game itself, featuring quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, both teams are once again atop their respective conferences — the Eagles off to an 8-1 start and the Chiefs at 7-2.

Monday’s game is also a rarity in NFL history. This will be just the ninth time in which the teams from the previous Super Bowl will face each other the following season. The Super Bowl winner has won six of the eight prior meetings, including the last four times — the New England Patriots over the Atlanta Falcons in 2017, the Denver Broncos over the Carolina Panthers in 2016, the Seattle Seahawks over the Broncos in 2014 and the Green Bay Packers over the Patriots in 1997.

In February, the Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in Glendale, Ariz., in a game that came down to a Harrison Butker field goal with eight seconds left. Should we expect a similarly thrilling game this time? And could this be a preview of Super Bowl LVIII?
