France coach on Vembanyama: I’m a little disappointed with his shooting percentage

Looking at the statistics, he is quite stable already in the first season,” Kole said. “I’m a little disappointed with his shooting percentage. That’s not enough for a player like him. There are various factors in the game, including that he depends on his teammates as well. He really has something to improve there.”

Also, the coach of the French national team emphasized that Vembanjam must continue to progress in more aspects of the game. “He also needs to improve his connection with his teammates. Against the Sacramento Kings, he took 26 shots, but did not provide a single assist. At the same time, you have to be patient because the NBA season has only started four weeks ago. His dominance is often seen more defensively than offensively. And his influence on the level of defense of “Spurs” is also significant.”
