Elfins Evans and Takamoto Katsuta will start next season as part of the “Toyota” team, who will play a full season, while Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera will start a partial season.

2023 world rally champion Kalle Rovanpera has announced that he has signed a multi-year contract with Toyota. But the most important news is that the 23-year-old Kalle will play only a partial season next season.

“I have signed a multi-year contract with the Toyota team, which I am very happy about. However, next season we will see some changes as we will only compete in half of all WRC stages. There are several reasons for this, but the biggest reason is that I have been rallying for 15 years, which is a long time. Of course, the last seasons have been unique, but at the same time very demanding, both mentally and physically. It has been exhausting. It takes a lot of time and energy to fight for championships and to travel around the world. I’ve decided that now would be the right time to recharge my batteries next year, refresh my mind, then come back with full power and fight for championship titles again,” said 23-year-old Kalle Rovanpera, who added that next year he might more will be seen in drifting or some other competitions.
