We invite young men and women between the ages of 16 and 30 to apply for the training of young hockey referees, which will take place from 30.11.2023. until 06.01.2024! As part of it, it will be possible to get acquainted with the profession and role of field and team referees in the game of hockey, the theoretical learning of the rules and their application in practice. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to meet the judges of the Latvian Hockey Federation and get inspiration from the stories of the judges’ experiences.
The training includes 5 theoretical lessons, practice (officiating at least 2-3 games) and an exam (skating and physical tests and rules test) at the end of the training.
We invite you to apply for learning the duties of field referees and team referees! Skating skills are mandatory when applying for field referee training.

04.01.2024 online (remotely) from 18.00 until 21.00
06.01.2024 in person, at the Daugava Ice Hall, Augshiela 1, Riga (time to be specified)
In the period from 30.11.2023 until 06.10.2023 in parallel with the theoretical lessons, practice will be provided for the new field and team referees in the games of the Latvian Children and Youth Championship and the Baltic Women’s Hockey Championship.
Training is free. In case of successful passing of the exam, further cooperation opportunities will be offered.
