Drone manufacturer DJI is about to launch a new Mini 4K drone that the company describes as ideal for beginners. According to an image posted on DJI’s Amazon US and UK pages, the drone will go on sale as early as Monday, April 29.
Only a few things are known about the “Mini 4K”, which the image in front tells. First, DJI calls it the perfect device for beginners. Second, as the drone’s name suggests, it will be able to capture content in 4K quality. This will make the Mini 4K the cheapest DJI drone available that can shoot 4K video.

Overall, the Mini 4K looks very similar to the Mini 2 SE that DJI introduced last February. It is a budget drone and is capable of shooting 2.7K content. The biggest difference between the Mini 4K and the Mini 2 SE might be the resolution. Essentially, the Mini 4K is a refreshed Mini 2 SE. Also in terms of price, “Mini 4” promises to be affordable and beginner-friendly.
No other information about the new drone is available at this time, not even at the rumor level. But the good news is that in a couple of days, everything interesting about “Mini 4K” will be clarified.
