The representative of the State Police, Simona Grāvīte, told the “Degpunktā” program that the search for the missing Jansone, which was not possible due to the weather, will soon be resumed. It has already been reported that on November 2 of last year, Luizeh Evertovska, born in 2023, who was declared missing the previous day, was found in the forest in Jelgava region without any signs of life, but her mother, Anna Jansone, born in 1989, unfortunately, has not yet been found. The State Police has received the results of the examinations related to the cause of the infant’s death, establishing that the child died from sudden death syndrome.

“The time of death is November 1, which is about 24 hours before he was found on November 2 around 11 a.m. The police have no information that the infant died while the woman was still at home,” the police said.
