In order to carry out successful management and provide support for ensuring the quality of educational institutions, to collect and analyze information on the quality of education, the educational development strategy of the city of Ventspils for 2024-2030 is being developed, and the council has decided to submit it for public consultation, which will last from April 8. until May 7.
The education development strategy of Ventspils city for 2024-2030 will ensure the achievement of the goals set in the Educational Development Guidelines and the overarching goal set in the sustainable development strategy of Ventspils city municipality and Ventspils county municipality until 2030. The purpose of developing the strategy is to identify the actual situation in the municipality in the context of the network of educational institutions, anticipating its improvement and defining future development priorities and directions in accordance with the support mechanisms provided at the national level. Thus, support will be provided to educational institutions, creating a supportive, creative, dynamic, competitive, excellence-oriented educational space of the state city of Ventspils, where everyone’s growth throughout life is supported.

Written proposals for the 1st edition of the education development strategy of the city of Ventspils for 2024-2030 can be submitted by May 7 inclusive:
