The establishment of an animal shelter in Aizkraukle district continues to be discussed – Staburags.lv

How is the adoption of animals going, how many cats are currently staying in the premises of the “Felida” society, what to do with stray cats, organization of the shelter and financial means for feeding the animals – questions that the members of “Felida” discussed together with the representatives of the Aizkraukle County Council.
We already wrote that on March 4, the meeting of the representatives of the Aizkraukle animal protection society “Felida” and the district took place, and it was agreed to meet again on March 25. During this time, the association sent a letter to the council members. Deputy chairman of the county council Andris Zālītis, Aizkraukle city and parish manager Aigars Zīmelis, deputy executive director of the municipality Guido Liepiņš and municipal police chief Anita Ozola came to the meeting.
