The Rothko Museum invites active, curious, volunteer-oriented young people to a meeting and founding of the museum’s “Youth Club” on Tuesday, April 9, at 16.00

The Rothko Museum is a place where purposeful and systematic work is done not only on the creation, preservation and promotion of a high-quality Latvian and foreign contemporary art collection, but also on the involvement of different target audiences in various museum activities. In order to more successfully reach and appeal to the young audience, a “Youth Club” is being established in the museum this spring.

The youth club of the Rothko Museum is intended for young people at least 15 years old who are interested in art, design and current developments in a cultural place of international importance. The museum is waiting for purposeful and curious young people who are ready to voluntarily get involved in the organization of cultural and educational events of the museum, participate in its activities and participate in the creation of content that is engaging for young people, gaining practical skills in a real work environment and the opportunity to supplement their CV with meaningful and socially significant volunteer work experience.

At the first meeting, there will be a mutual introduction, an exchange of ideas about current trends in the industry for young people and a joint inspection of the Rothko Museum exhibitions.

To join the “Youth Club” of the Rothko Museum, apply by calling 26564817 or writing to [email protected].
