ON APRIL 27, THE CITIZENS OF DAUGAVPILES ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GREAT TALKA

On April 27, in Daugavpils, as in all other Latvian municipalities, the Great Talk will take place with the motto “clean-green-long”. Both individual cleaners, educational institutions and work teams are invited to participate. Application for participation – on the website www.talkas.lv of the cleaning site, or by coming to the Daugavpils state city municipal institution “Communal management administration” on April 24 – 26 during working hours, at the same time receiving the bags necessary for the cleanup.

The map of polluted places found on the website LielaTalka.lv (talkas.lv) is a useful tool when planning cleaning activities, and everyone is invited to report on places that need cleaning in order to jointly make our Latvia cleaner. Cleanup participants have the opportunity to register their chosen cleanup location On the map of Great Talkaas well as Solo talukas on the map.

The collected household waste will have to be placed only in the cleanup bags issued by the Municipal Administration and in the places specified at the time of registration, so that the removal of the waste collected within the scope of the Great Cleanup proceeds smoothly and there are no doubts about the origin of the collected waste.

The organizers emphasize that even those who have registered the cleaning site at www.talkas.lv must come to the KSP to pick up the bags: at the time of handing out the bags, you will receive detailed information on how and where to place the filled bags correctly so that they can be identified by the collector.

We will be happy for any cleaning place applied for, the initiative shown and the desire to clean up the territories of our municipality. Only by joint efforts can we make Latvia and Daugavpils cleaner and tidier and keep our land clean and green for future generations!
