Latvians defeated Azerbaijan 3-0 (25:14, 25:6, 25:9).

It has already been reported that in the previous games of the day in Daugavpils, Estonia defeated their peers from Lithuania 3-1 (25:20, 20:25, 25:19, 25:14), while Poland defeated them 3-2 (25:15, 25:21, 23:25, 16:25, 15:8) beat the Ukrainian national team.

On Tuesday, at 4 p.m., the Latvians will meet with Georgia, on Thursday at the same time – with Ukraine, on Friday – with Estonia, on Saturday – with Lithuania and on Sunday – with Poland.

In Daugavpils, teams from seven countries are also fighting for the medals of the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) championship.

In addition to EEVZA gold medals, the winner will also get a ticket to the final tournament of the 2024 European U-18 Championship.

Bratić is assisted by coach Inga Ikauniece and statistician Vladimirs Visockis.

The second to fifth place winners of the EEVZA Championship will enter the second qualification round.

The qualification tournament within the EEVZA championship takes place from November 20 to 26.

The games can be watched live on the “YouTube” account “Volleyball Latvia”, but the entrance to the games is free.

The second round of qualification tournaments will take place from April 11 to 14, while the final tournament will take place from July 1 to 13, 2024 in Greece and Cyprus.
