On Wednesday, November 22, the Rural Support Service (RAS) will hold an online seminar on the European Union’s (EU) emergency support in the dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goat and horse breeding sector, according to the information published by the RAS.

At the seminar, representatives of the RSD will talk about the conditions for receiving EU emergency support for livestock farms and the criteria for receiving this support.

The seminar will be held from 10 am to 11 am on LAD “Youtube” channel.

LAD invites questions to be sent in advance to “[email protected]”. During the seminar, participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions in the “Youtube” chat window.

It has already been reported that from the EU’s emergency support for agriculture in the amount of 6.797 million, 3.012 million has been directed to cover the losses caused by this year’s ice and frost in the fruit and berry sector, and the remaining funding – to the dairy farming, beef cattle, sheep, goat and horse sectors in order to partially cover the farms the cost of buying fodder.

Fruit growers can apply for support until November 21, while livestock farmers – until December 1

The emergency support must be paid by January 31, 2024.
