Both individual people and several families took part in the march. Those present started and ended the march at the Freedom Monument.
This year’s Men’s Health Month will focus on the need for medical check-ups, urging them to have at least one health check-up over the next year.
Every year in November, the issue of prostate health is brought up, about the necessary tests, men are invited to visit their urologist, send blood tests to the laboratory and monitor the indicators of the prostate specific antigen.
Ansis Klintson, the “messenger” of the “Men’s Test” movement, observed that sometimes the most active participants of “Movember” and the owners of thick mustaches are younger men, and often the way “ordinary men” are addressed is said to be complicated. He invites men to start with at least one health check-up within the next year, even if the man has not reached the 45-year-old threshold.
“Everyone knows that in addition to the prostate, there are also eyes, ears, heart and liver, so every health examination gives an opportunity to assure yourself that everything is in order or to find a “bug” in time to cure,” says Clinton.
The men’s health platform “Vīru test” has developed a health clock, where every man, entering his age, will see the necessary health tests according to his age.
