Michael Jackson was accused of 14 crimes against children. He denied all the accusations that were made. Jackson claimed that he had been misunderstood and that his actions were harmless.

In the early 1990s, he was allegedly accused of sexually abusing 12-year-old Jodine Chandler. The statements given by the boy were checked by the police and they completely matched what the child said. The case was settled when Michael Jackson paid Chandler’s family $23 million.

Experts believe that if the case had been investigated further, it would have been a turning point in Jackson’s further prosecution cases.

Jackson’s opinion expressed in interviews shows that he was really convinced that sleeping in the same bed with children was normal. In this aspect, professionals point to some danger because, despite Jackson’s claims, there was an inherently unequal power balance between him and the children.

Professionals who analyze several interviews of Michael Jackson in the film point out that in some cases his body language conveys and tells a completely different version of various aspects of Jackson’s personal life, such as plastic surgery.

Experts also evaluated the documentary “Leaving Nekurzemi” (2019), in which two children who were close to Jackson testified about sexual abuse. All three claimed that the testimony given more than 15 years later by the men in question could be true.
