“Detectives of Darkness”: Communication with spirits – blood-curdling and dangerous

In the podcast “Pats krējumiņš” the representatives of the association do not hide that they also feel a sense of fear when trying to communicate with spirits. It has especially taken over in the early stages, when they decided to focus on learning about paranormal activities. “ECHO” representative Dan remembers the first time he stayed alone in an abandoned building.

“We’ve all had that time when we’re alone for the first time. I had such a case after I was disappointed with the evidence in one of the investigations. I was brave. The guys left me alone, literally a minute passed, and I didn’t know how to stand still, how not to leave this room immediately. Because the sounds seem to come from all sides, the hearing is sharpened. You also seem to see something. It must be endured. It was a challenge,” admits Dan.

His colleague Dagnis, however, points out that fear is instinctive for people and, when they enter into it, it decreases with time, therefore the feelings of this moment, when exploring the spirit world, are not even comparable to those they were five years ago, when “ECHO” started its examinations.

“Fear is instinctive for a person. If someone says they are not afraid of anything, they are lying. Every person is afraid of something. But the more you work with it, the less you fear. We have been working with this for five years,” said Dagnis.

To the question – how dangerous is their affair, “ECHO” representatives say that they cannot say it objectively and accurately, but it is not certain, and due to several aspects.

“This is dangerous from two aspects. If it is an abandoned place, it is dangerous from other people. We usually prepare for such situations as much as possible. It is also dangerous from the side that we examine in our videos and broadcast,” explains Dagnis. He also reveals that more than once one of the addressed spirits ordered to leave the scene immediately, also threatened to kill the “Detectives of Darkness” with, for example, an axe.
